I am now certified to deliver the Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP), a powerful listening therapy designed to reduce hearing sensitivities and help regulate the autonomic nervous system. Contact me for details, or visit WhatistheSSP.com to learn more.

The Safe and Sound Protocol

A listening therapy to unlock your ability to think, feel and connect better through nervous system regulation.

The SSP isn’t just music — it’s a comprehensive approach to healing. This unique listening therapy is a journey that brings together the client, therapist and the SSP to create a safe space for brain and body integration and healing to achieve impactful, long-lasting results.

Many clients who experience the SSP report fewer symptoms of anxiety, depression and trauma-related symptoms. Caregivers of children who experience the SSP report fewer psychosocial challenges.

Stephen Porges first began using the SSP with children with autism, resulting in sometimes remarkable changes. Now we know that SSP can also benefit all individuals with:

  • Auditory sensitivity

  • Chronic anxiety

  • Depression

  • Learning problems

  • Post-traumatic stress disorder

  • Relationship difficulties

  • Social anxiety

  • Sleep problems

  • Separation anxiety

  • Behavioral acting out

  • Anger

  • Self-medicating behaviors

What Will this Program Cost?

The program costs differ depending on the amount of direct time you will have with your therapist. It is generally advised that you participate in sessions with a trained therapist present at each of the sessions, the cost will be higher than if at-home use is appropriate. The fee schedule is outlined below.

Note: Insurance will not cover the cost of the SSP program. Current clients may be eligible for discounted rates. SSP can be utilized as an adjunct to therapy or as a stand-alone treatment.
